Abstract: This paper proposes a new speaker verification system considering several filterbanks which have various spectral resolutions. The study first provides the verification results of each filterbank and proposes a mixed system that combines the scores of each filterbank to increase speaker verification performance. Simulation results show that our proposed method provides better performance than conventional Gaussian Mixture Model - Universal Background Model (GMM-UBM) based speaker verification system in the experiments using TIMIT database. 0.44 % of EER is achieved in our proposed method, while the best performance of conventional methods is 0.51 % of EER (equal error rate).
